If i am not eating properly does that put him at risk? Honeslty pretty much the only vitamins he is getting is the ones in my pre-natal vitamins as i barley eat.
Does this mean he will stop growing and gaining weight?
oh i am 35 weeks it has been like this the last few weeks
and if it is putting him at risk what can i do, i want him to be healthy but i cant force myself to eat because it will just come straight back up.Help!! having a bit of a problem need advice what can i do?
Ok, here's the good news...you're so close to being full term and as long as your baby is still growing, I would say those are all good signs that everything is on track. Have you called your OB's office about your situation? If not, maybe a call into them would be good. I think a phone call to them might put you at ease.
When I was pregnant I remembered I wasn't as hungry either because my daughter was sitting up high the way your son is positioned. I tried a couple of things. I grazed all day long. I kept various high calorie snacks (like trail mix or granola bars) within an arms reach at all times. Also have you tried fruit smoothies like Jamba Juice or something along those lines? Those have tons of calories and they do have fruit and some yogurt. Whenever I'm sick and am on the upswing, I usually crave something cold and liquidy. Plus it's super sweet which is always a plus.
I hope this helps and good luck with everything!Help!! having a bit of a problem need advice what can i do?

I don't see a straightforward answer, but, I've found some commiseration for you. You are not alone! Just finding a place to find answers, maybe.
Best of luck.
i actually drank slim fast but only because i craved it and it want to lose weight it has lots of nutrients in it and vitamines and what not and as long as your not trying to lose weight i think its ok you may also try just munching all day sit in front of the tv so you arent paying attention and eat crackers just one at a time chew it well and swallow slowly pretty soon you will have eaten the whole thing of crackers and ddnt even notice it but i dont advise moveing a whole lot after you do it
This happens sometimes. Try small small meals and just try to make everything count. This might be a good time to drink juices or smoothies and such where you can get some liquid nutrition a little at a time. This way you can sip here and there without pushing too much into that too small tummy. Ensure is also a good option if you can stomach it. Its much better really really cold. I would worry less about his stopping growing, and more about a danger of you passing out and hurting yourself. More or less the baby will get what it needs putting you at risk more than him.
I wouldn't panic, but I would speak to your doctor. Your baby is still going to get nurtrients from you whether you eat or not. The baby will deplete your calcium, your vitamins, etc. Keep on munching on small meals during the day and make sure you stay HYDRATED! Lots and lots of water, fruit juice and milk shakes will also provide some nourishment.
No, you are not putting him at risk, eat what you can, maybe even try a liquid diet that is less bulky...at least it would be something...like boost or ensure. The only one that will suffer here from barely eating is you because the baby will take nutrients from you if he is not getting them from food.
Hang in there! He will drop soon!!
That's a toughie! I would talk to your doctor and/or dietician about this, because the food that you put into your body is the most important thing right now! There are perscriptions for this kind of thing and I really think it's the best thing for you. If anything, try to eat many small meals a day and drink tons of water. (Even if you hurl them back up, your body does retain alot of the nutrients)
I had this issue I barley ate the last 4 weeks of pregnancy or the first 4 months and my girl was 8.5lbs!! My doc said as long as i tried a little of the nutrients got in there and she is perfectly healthy I would not worry to much, congrats on being all most done!!
Do not worry one bit.
Your body knows the deal: baby first.
Your baby will continue to grow and gain weight. Your body has fat stores and other stored nutrients so that you can make it though a physically demanding time, like the end of pregnancy. Your body will take from itself to make sure that baby is growing perfectly.
If you can't eat, respect your feelings. I know what it's like, it's just so crowded in there! There's no room for anything but baby! Make sure you're drinking to thirst, try smaller, more frequent meals, but there's no need to force yourself to eat. Your body knows what it's doing, things are going to be fine.
I feel for you. The last part of pregnancy can be so rough. Luckily, your placenta is providing your baby with a lot of nutrition. Please speak to your doctor about your concerns though. It's important to get professional feedback.
Good luck to you!!!
